Volkswagen Das Auto 2011

There are only two things i know about cars. Driving one is not one  them.

1. They bring you to places.

2. Some are so sexy you will vomit unicorns and rainbows just looking at them.

That’s why i feel really privileged to be invited to VolkswagenDas Auto Show 2011. Was there with Saimatkong, Redmummy and Aud. It was happening in Stadium Bukit Jalil.

It was a grand and prestigious Suit-Up! event. #UnderDressed

This was inside the cool igloo looking dome, and we very buay-paiseh-ly occupied the front row to have a better view of whatever that’s about to be presented. #kiasu

Even all the VVVIPs and big big bosses were sitting behind us :X

After some mandatory speeches, the dome suddenly brightened and animated visuals of cities started to form across the whole dome and it was a really impressive sight to behold!

Out of nowhere a car drove out!! On the platform across the dome!! It circled one round and then descended…

That was the Golf R.

Later on more cars were paraded, and my favorite was this.

However this was still the crowd favorite. The 21st Century Beetle. Everyone cheered and applauded when it appeared.

After the presentation we proceeded to the show room to have an up close encounter.
